UI/UX Technical Flash Artist @ EA Popcap Games (Vancouver)
Duration: 20 months (September 2011 - May 2013)
Role: Create and implement UI and HUD using Flash / AS3 for Facebook Games. Responsible for implementing UI and HUD artwork and bring it to life and giving it the final polish. This includes programming the interface ( so I have maximum control of the UI/HUD ), helping with the UI design, and crafting interactions that enhance the experience and are intuitive to use. I was essentially involved in every aspect of the UI and lead the development of the UI for this project.

Lead UI Artist / Designer @ Rugged Nation Games (Vancouver)
Duration: 4 months (May 2011 - Aug 2011)
Role: Worked on a small team on an unreleased PC title. This project involved re-skinning an old product with a modern style that I created. I managed the art side for creation of the UI and in-game assets. In doing this I gave art direction to a small team of artists and also aided in the creation of art assets.

Lead UI Artist / Flash Developer @ Propaganda Games (Vancouver)
Duration: 14 months (Dec 2009 - Feb 2011)
Role: Use Flash, Photoshop and Scaleform to design and develop a cutting edge front-end UI and HUD for Tron: Evolution (XBox, PS3, PC). While on this project I also had the opportunity to work with outsourcers and give art direction for the creation of 130 icons.

Flash/Actionscript Specialist @ EA Blackbox (Vancouver)
Duration: 4 months (April 2009 - July 2009) - contracted out by Pirahna Games
Role: Worked on the UI Team for Need For Speed: Shift as an Actionsript specialist (aka Actionscript Assasin). I worked on the most complex aspects of the front-end including a mock 3D Career Map, Menu System and complex background elements as well as creating components that were used across all screens. I also provided expert support for any Actionscript / Flash related problems that our team was having.

Actionscript UI Artist / Designer @ Pirahna Games Inc (Vancouver)
Duration: 18 months (March 2008 - December 2009)
Role: Create highly usable and visually stunning Front-End user interface from design to full implementation for XBox/PS3/Wii/PSP. While working at Pirahna Games I had the opportunity to work on many projects and use many tools. Some of the games I worked on are as follows:

  • Bass Pro Shops: The Strike (XBox, Wii)
  • Bass Pro Shops: The Hunt (XBox, Wii)
